My Day UX improvements

Project

  • The MyDay page is a critical tool for admin members to communicate with practice staff and organize daily tasks. However, the current design falls short of user expectations, forcing them to rely on additional tools to complete their workflow. This gap has created inefficiencies and hindered the overall effectiveness of the platform.

Problem

How can we enhance the MyDay page to streamline communication, support daily task management, and eliminate the need for additional tools, ultimately creating a more efficient and user-friendly experience for admin members?

My role

  • Senior product designer

Research

Part of my responsibility at Genie solution, I conduct heuristic analysis on the existing pages and run research on how to improve the user experience. Research ran by working with practice managers of five different practices to learn the flows and how the page is being used by them and what functionality can add value to what they need to be complete their jobs. I worked closely with the product manager to identify the priorities based on the data collected. The ideas where turned to prototypes and were tested by users to collect feedback and also shared with SMEs.
